What is the “shopping cart”?

The shopping cart is like an order form of the kind you’re familiar with from conventional mail-order catalogues. Your shopping cart contains all of the items that you selected and put in it. Simply click “into the shopping cart” to put an item into your cart. An item that you have put in your cart has not yet been ordered and you can remove it from your cart afterwards if you change your mind. When you’ve completed your final selection, you can take your shopping cart “to the checkout counter” to place your order. Your shopping cart’s icon appears at the upper right corner of each page in the Watchtime Shop.

How can I change the contents of my shopping cart?

Each item that we offer for sale can be placed into your virtual shopping cart by clicking the “into the shopping cart” button. Your shopping cart’s icon appears at the upper right corner of each page in our e-commerce shop. To access your shopping cart, simply move your cursor onto the cart’s icon and click. Now you can change the number of selected products or erase an item from your cart. To change the number of items, click “edit,” then click “change number” and finally click “update cart.” The new total price will be calculated automatically. To remove an item from your shopping cart, click the “remove” button alongside the item. Click “continue shopping” to add new products to your shopping cart.

How can I add items into my shopping cart?

Click the “add to cart” button each time you want to put an item into your virtual shopping cart. You can change your order afterwards, and you can also add more items or remove items that are already in your cart.

Do we also accept international orders?

All of the products that we offer for sale are also currently available worldwide. Please be aware that shipping costs differ depending on the country to which the merchandise will be shipped. Kindly also be aware that our products are offered in various languages. All magazines and downloads are in English. If an item is published in a language other than English, the language will be specified alongside the product.

How secure is my order in the Internet?

Our shop is 128-bit SSL encrypted for your security. This encrypted status is indicated by the padlock icon in your browser’s status bar. Right-click the padlock for additional information.

How secure are the data that I provide you?

Your data are stored on our server in a dedicated database. Our server is protected against unauthorized access by third parties. See: “Data Protection.”

Will I receive a confirmation of my order?

For each order that you place in our online shop, you’ll receive an email confirming that we have received your order. Before you send your order form, please verify that your email address is correct.

Item search:
Type your search term, which can be either a keyword or an article number. “Item Search” is centered at the top of each page.

Choose from the category overview:
You’ll find the menu navigation at the top of the page below the logo. The menu navigation is subdivided into main categories. Within these categories, you can sort products according to their position, name or price. You can also filter products according to the price of the item, its brand, its topic or its date of publication.
Individual items can be assigned to more than one category.

What if the delivery address differs from the billing address?

If the delivery address differs from the billing address, you can separately type in each address. You can change either address, or both of them, up until the moment when you send your order.

What should I do if I want to give someone a gift subscription?

If you want to give someone a gift subscription, simply fill in the delivery address (i.e. the address of the gift’s recipient) and the billing address (i.e. the address of the person who is giving the gift).
Please be aware that a gift subscription can only be given to someone whose address is in the same country as the address of the giver. For example, we cannot accept an order for a gift subscription from a person in the USA who wants to have the publication sent as a gift to a person in Canada. The reason for this is that different countries levy different taxes.
If you want to send gift subscriptions to more than one person, you must fill out a separate gift subscription order for each recipient. This is necessary because each subscription must have its own delivery address.

An ordered item didn’t arrive. What should I do now?

How expensive are the shipping costs for a subscription?

The shipping costs via surface mail are already included in the price of the subscription. All other modes of delivery (e.g. airmail) are subject to a surcharge.
